The EE powered MVNO 1p Mobile quietly made the jump to 5G, and the network also supports WiFi Calling now.
1p Mobile has the best PAYG rates in the UK with 1p a minute to UK landlines and mobiles, 1p a text to UK numbers and 1p a MB (data). The network was already a great option for customers who’re looking for rather wallet-friendly alternatives, and with the addition of these two new features, it’s even better. 1p Mobile’s FAQ section isn’t updated yet, but the network announced that their plans now offer 5G at no extra cost, if your device supports the service.
Just remember that, 1p mobile allowing 5G connectivity means your data speed will be significantly faster, you’ll be spending a lot more data and at that point, you might want to buy a 30-day bundle rather than operating on their old school PAYG service.
